Tatar Takes The Oath as 5th President of TRNC
Ersin Tatar took the Presidential Oath this afternoon at a parliamentary general assembly. The event remained closed to both press and public as part of coronavirus safety measures. Later on in the day, former President Mustafa Akinci handed over the TRNC flag to President Tatar as a symbolic gesture acknowledging the new president. BRT
