President Mustafa Akıncı has expressed his condolences to the families of pilots Serkan Özcezarlı and Hakan Çetinkaya, who died in a light aircraft which crashed near Geçitkale Airport.
President Akıncı said “I feel great sorrow about having lost two young people as a result of the plane crashing on the runway during a training flight. I would like to express my condolences to the young people who lost their lives in this unexpected accident and their grieving families”.
