Health Minister Dr. Ali Pilli has said 26 people tested positive for the coronavirus in the last 24 hours, 14 of whom were local and one person has died from the virus.
The total number of cases detected so far is 1,692 and there have been nine deaths.
In South Cyprus, 569 new cases of the coronavirus were found in the last 24 hours and one person has died.
This brings the total number of cases to 25,208 and 124 deaths in the south.
