A man driving under the influence of 226 milligrams of alcohol caused a multi-vehicle collision in Kyrenia and was arrested.
The accident happened at around 9pm on Sunday on Semih Sancar Street in Kyrenia, Adnan UÇAK (26) was driving a sedan under the influence of 226 milligrams of alcohol, heading west. Due to his carelessness, he collided with the rear of a saloon car driven by İsmet TAN (19), who had to stop because the vehicles in front of him had stopped.
Due to the impact, İsmet TAN’s vehicle was thrown forward and collided with the rear of another saloon car driven by Ange D. Bonaventures BOUKOULOU (25), which was stopped in front of it.
Again, due to the impact, Ange D. Bonaventures BOUKOULOU’s vehicle was thrown forward and collided with the rear of a sedan driven by Salih KULAKSIZ (50), which had also come to a halt.
As a result of the accident, İsmet TAN was injured and discharged after receiving treatment at Dr. Akçiçek Hospital in Kyrenia.
Adnan UÇAK who caused the accident was arrested. Meanwhile, the police investigation into the incident continues.
