The accident happened at around 7.15 pm in Sunday evening, when 25-year-old Şaban Eker died by drowning while swimming in the sea.
He was taken to the beach by the citizens who were on the beach and given first aid, and then he was transferred to Dr. Akçiçek Hospital in Kyrenia by ambulance. However, Eker could not be saved despite all medical interventions and lost his life.
The investigation continues.
