An earthquake of magnitude 3.9 occurred today at 02:18 off the coast of Limassol.
According to the statement made by the Meteorology Department, an earthquake of mild intensity and instrumental magnitude of ML: 3.9 on the Richter Scale was recorded approximately 66 km away from the Lefke Earthquake Station affiliated with the Department, Kibris Postasi reported.
As a result of the first assessment, it was determined that the epicentre of the earthquake was located off the coast of Limassol at coordinates 34.54 north and 32.61 east, at a depth of approximately 16 km.
