The TRNC Council of Minister has approved a budget of 8 billion, 814 million Turkish Lira for 2020. This is an increase of 11.7 per cent compared to 2019, Foreign Minister Kudret Ozersay has said.
Speaking yesterday after the Cabinet meeting, Ozersay stated that according to information they received from the Ministry of Finance, the shortfall of the budget for 2019 was estimated to be 851 million but was decreased to 197 million 723 thousand Turkish Lira.
Ozersay also stated that the Council of Ministers had also decided to prolong, for two more years, the submission of applications to the Immovable Property Commission (IPC), until December 2021.
