Dense Fog Covers Many Areas of North Cyprus

Many parts of North Cyprus have been covered by dense fog with visibility dropping to five meters.

The fog, which affected many regions in the early hours of the morning, was a hazard to traffic. Police warned drivers to be vigilant and keep driving speeds low.

A Police Press Office statement said that Nicosia-Famagusta main road, Gazimağusa-Karpaz main road and the Kyrenia-Degirmenlik mountain road were affected by dense fog, and that drivers should drive slowly and with care.
