Halil Küçük, who set out to sea, received widespread acclaim for rescuing a dog that he claimed had been stranded in the water for hours.
The situation, where the dog was found far out at sea with no land in sight, sparked outrage among animal lovers and citizens alike, Kibris Postasi reports.
Amidst the circulation of heart-wrenching images of the cute dog, news broke that the dog had been reunited with its owner. The Golden Paws Association announced on social media that the dog’s owner had been located. Cansel Adier Karataç, the owner, received the news that the dog she had been searching for since morning was found. The heartwarming reunion of Karataç with her beloved pet brought joy to many.
Cansel Karataç, the dog’s owner, commenting on the incident, expressed her gratitude to Halil Küçük and explaining the situation as follows:
“My husband and I went fishing. After some time, I began feeling unwell and lay down at the front of the boat, falling asleep. Our dog was by my side, and my husband was at the back, busy with the radar. When we realised our dog was missing, we searched for hours but couldn’t find him. We were heartbroken, thinking he had drowned. I prayed to God and the angels for help, crying, and thankfully he was found.
“Those who know us are aware that I did a live broadcast from the sea with my dog, and he is part of our family. If we had any intention of abandoning him, which we are not that heartless, we wouldn’t have done a live broadcast. We don’t take to heart the comments made without knowing the full story.
“We are immensely grateful to Mr. Halil, who found our dog, and to those who saw the report and informed us after watching my live broadcast. God is truly great“.
