Eight people tested positive for Covid-19 in the last 24 hours, Health Minister Dr. Ali Pilli said on Sunday. Eight people have also been discharged, the health minister said.
Six of those who tested positive on Sunday were passengers who had arrived in North Cyprus, one was a contact infection and the other case was local.
In the south, 152 people tested positive on Sunday.
The total number of cases in North Cyprus is 1,103 and in the south, 10,383.
