A capsized fishing boat has been discovered off the coast of Mersinlik. Fishermen who discovered the boat reported the find to the police.
The boat is thought to have been deliberately scuppered after bringing refugees across to North Cyprus.
Port Department and Coastal Safety teams under the supervision of the Iskele Police Department teams, removed the boat from the water.
An investigation is underway to find out who owns the boat.
