A fire which began in Güngör refuse dump continues in a controlled burn.
Police, firefighters, Forestry Department teams, as well as tankers and construction equipment owned by Dikmen and Değirmenlik Municipality brought the blaze under control which started at around 4.30 pm on Saturday.
It is not known yet what was the cause of the fire which continues to burn in a controlled manner.
