The Girne – Degirmenlik mountain road was re-opened to traffic this morning after it was closed due to heavy rainfall.
The main highway was flooded after heavy rainfall and there has been fog in the area, forcing temporary closure of the road.
The Police Press Office has asked motorists to reduce speed and drive with extreme care.
