In the last 24 hours, 14,475 tests for the coronavirus were performed, 116 people tested positive, 100 of whom were local, BRT reported on Friday.
The new local cases are distributed as follows: Nicosia – 30, Kyrenia – 30, Famagusta – 32, Iskele, Güzelyurt – 2, Lefke district – 1.
There are 50 patients at the Pandemic Hospital, seven of whom are in intensive care.
To date, the total number of cases of the coronavirus is 23,184 and there have been 89 deaths linked to the virus.
