Nine new cases of Covid-19 were detected yesterday following 1,820 tests performed in the previous 24 hours, Health Minister Dr. Ali Pilli said.
Minister Pilli said that three of the positive cases were airline passengers who arrived in North Cyprus, two people were the contacts of the cases detected before, four were local cases, contact follow-ups were made. Two people were discharged, the minister said.
The total number of recorded Covid-19 cases is now 894.
