The Ministry for Tourism is ramping up its efforts to attract more tourists from the UK.
Posters will be displayed on 100 red buses and 25 adverts will be put up in underground stations.
UK Tourism and promotion coordinator for the tourism ministry Kadir Doruhan, said that the campaign, which should bring positive results, will carry on until mid-February.
The 2019 Tourism advertising and promotion campaign aims to secure early reservations by tourists wishing to visit North Cyprus. Doruhan said that they took part in a large tourism fair in Manchester, along with five other tour operators, where many package holidays were sold.
He also said that they are taking part in the Destinations – Holiday and Travel show being held at Olympia. The Destinations fair runs between 31-January – 3 February.
