Five police vehicles with radar speed detectors on board will be on the roads as of June 1, Yeniduzen reports.
The vehicles will be on patrol in Nicosia, Famagusta, Kyrenia, Güzelyurt and Iskele.
Criminal action will be taken against drivers found to be speeding, a statement by the General Directorate of Police said.
