The Mehmetçik – Çayırova Highway was closed at 9am today by the police to enable work to clear rockfall which resulted from heavy rains in the region.
On Tuesday, the road was closed after torrential rain washed a massive boulder onto the road.
An alternative route is available via the Pamuklu main road.
