A traffic accident occurred on the Nicosia-Güzelyurt highway when a truck driver lost control of his vehicle and struck a crash barrier on Tuesday evening.
Reportedly the truck was heading towards Güzelyurt at high speed. On the approach to the Alayköy roundabout, the 31 year old truck driver lost control at the wheel. His truck struck a metal barrier and overturned. Fortunately no one was injured in the accident.
Police are continuing their investigations into the incident.
