The bodies of two young men and a woman have been recovered after the car they were travelling in was swept away by floods near Ciklos, in Dogankoy. The other passenger, a female, is still missing.
Those who were found are are, Günay Kandaz 18, Tolga Bekci, 21, and Ahmet Kilic, 23.
Torrential rain hampered rescue workers who were unable to recover the car which had been swept into a ravine.
The Met Office issued a yellow warning until 11am on Friday. Accumulated rainfall may reach over 5cm within the next six hours.
Worst hit by the storms and rainfall are Kyrenia, Alsancak and Lapta.
