Two people were injured, one seriously, in a motorcycle accident that occurred yesterday on the Doğancı-Taşpınar main road, Yeniduzen reports.
According to information provided by the Police Press Officer, the accident happened when 20-year-old Başar Başsın, riding a motorcycle, lost control at a left-hand bend, veered off the road, and crashed into an embankment. The motorcycle driver, Başar Başsın, and his 15-year-old passenger, Arsen Kadı, were taken to Dr. Burhan Nalbantoğlu State Hospital in Nicosia.
Başar Başsın, who sustained a brain haemorrhage and a neck fracture, was later transferred to Near East Hospital and is under observation in the intensive care unit. Meanwhile, Arsen Kadı was treated and subsequently discharged.
