*Concerns about the working conditions and living standards of migrant workers, including those from Asia in North Cyprus, have been reported in various contexts. These concerns typically include:

Living Conditions: Migrant workers may live in substandard or overcrowded conditions, with inadequate access to basic necessities such as clean water, sanitation, and proper housing.

Working Conditions: Reports often highlight the lack of enforcement of health and safety regulations, leading to hazardous working environments. This includes inadequate protective gear, poor safety protocols, and insufficient training.

Gaps in the enforcement of labour laws and regulations, which can result in exploitation and mistreatment of workers. This could include issues like low wages, lack of job security, and limited access to healthcare.

Support and Advocacy: Various NGOs and labour rights organisations work to address these issues, advocating for better working conditions and legal protections for migrant workers. [Ed.]
