A 19-year-old man who was seriously injured in an accident that occurred on the Haspolat-Tashkent main road on November 13 and was receiving treatment in intensive care, has lost his life, Yeniduzen reports.
Sabri Baykuş, aged 19, who was seriously injured in a traffic accident on the Haspolat-Tashkent main road on 13 November, has tragically passed away.
According to the Police Press Bulletin, the accident occurred when 19-year-old Mehmet Salih Ay lost control of the car he was driving due to carelessness. The vehicle skidded uncontrollably and collided with the front left side of a truck driven by 38-year-old Ahmet SA Bakr, which was travelling in the opposite direction.
The passengers who in the car driven by Mehmet Salih Ay, were Sabri Baykuş, Efe Çahan Alemdar and Süleyman Sarıca, were injured and taken to Dr. Burhan Nalbantoğlu State Hospital.
The police officer stated that one of the injured, Sabri Baykuş, was diagnosed with a brain haemorrhage.
Despite all efforts by medical staff at the Dr. Burhan Nalbantoğlu State Hospital Intensive Care Unit, Sabri Baykuş could not be saved and sadly passed away yesterday.
Mehmet Salih Ay who was arrested, appeared at court and remains in custody pending police examination of camera footage and a medical examination.
