The ‘18th International Dr Fazil Küçük Games’ have opened in Nicosia.
Around 421 athletes representing 19 different countries are participating.
The official opening ceremony took place yesterday. Athletes from the TRNC, Turkey, Belarus, the Czech Republic, Ukraine, Russia, FYROM, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Kosovo, Kyrgyzstan, Germany, Romania, Scotland, Moldavia, Iran, Norway and Uzbekistan are taking part.
The event opened on Wednesday, 10 October and finishes on Thursday, 18 October.
