Following the death of 13 year old Makhir İsmailov, who handled an unexploded hand grenade he found on a military firing range at Mevlevi, Guzelyurt district, three other unexploded grenades have been discovered in and around local farmland.
Police and military made a sweep of the area and found three further unexploded munitions.
Local farmers say that they are fearful of using their land to graze their animals. There are no warning signs in place, they said.
