UN Secretary-General’s special envoy to Cyprus Jane Holl Lute, has returned to Cyprus and will meet both Cypriot community leaders today and tomorrow.
This will be her fourth visit to the island since she was tasked with facilitating the two sides to resume negotiations, one year after the Cyprus negotiations at Crans-Montana collapsed.
She has made no comment on the outcome of her separate meetings with President Mustafa Akinci and President Nicos Anastasiades. Mrs Lute has also spoken with political leaders in Greece, Turkey and Brussels.
