Six people were arrested in connection with the discovery of 19,480 electronic cigarettes stowed on a ship in Famagusta Port, Yeniduzen reports.
According to the Police Press Office, the Famagusta Police and Special Investigation Branch teams boarded the ship in Famagusta Port at around 6.30pm on Friday where they discovered the smuggled goods.
The police are continuing their investigation.
