President Mustafa Akinci and President Nicos Anastasiades will have an informal meeting hosted by the head of the United Nations Peacekeeping Force in Cyprus (UNFICYP) Elizabeth Spehar, on Tuesday morning.
President Akinci has said he is waiting for President Anastasiades to clarify what he means by decentralising government power in a reunified Cyprus. “We don’t know that we mean the same thing when we talk about political equality“, said Akinci.
