Foreign Minister Mevlut Çavuşoğlu arrived in Cyprus on Sunday. Çavuşoğlu will meet with President Mustafa Akıncı, government officials and political party leaders to discuss common issues, particularly the recent developments on the Cyprus issue and the Eastern Mediterranean.
Official meetings will begin on Monday at 10am, when Çavuşoğlu will be received by President Mustafa Akıncı at the Presidency. Çavuşoğlu, will attend a round table meeting at 10.35am at the Presidency,.
The meeting will be held with the participation of President Akıncı and political party leaders.
A lunch will be given for Minister Çavuşoğlu, attended by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Kudret Özersay. Following which the Turkish foreign minister will meet Prime Minister Ersin Tatar. Çavuşoğlu will leave the island on Monday evening.
